Engineered for the Elements

Don’t settle for “backyard” umbrellas that flip in the wind. Presidio manufactures heavy-duty, commercial-grade shade sails and cantilever systems built to withstand high wind loads and heavy rain. Every structure is fabricated with corrosion-resistant steel posts and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) mesh that refuses to fade, mold, or sag, providing a permanent solution for your facility’s exterior.

Corrosion-Resistant Tension Hardware

Marine-grade stainless steel cables and tensioning turnbuckles. Ensures the shade remains taut and professional-looking for years without the rust or failure common in retail-grade hardware.

Industrial-Grade Steel Support Posts

Fully welded, powder-coated steel columns designed for permanent concrete mounting. These posts are engineered to meet local wind-load codes, ensuring the structure stays secure during storms and high-traffic play.

High-Density UV-Block Fabric

Commercial-grade HDPE mesh that blocks up to 95% of harmful UV rays while remaining breathable. Unlike solid tarps, this mesh allows hot air to rise through the fabric, creating a “breeze effect” that keeps the area underneath significantly cooler.

Your Questions, Answered!

K
L
Can these shade structures withstand high winds?
Yes our play yard outdoor shade can withstand high winds! Our commercial outdoor shade systems are engineered to meet specific wind-load requirements. While we recommend removing the fabric mesh during extreme weather events like hurricanes, the steel support structures are permanent installations built for extreme durability.
K
L
Do you offer custom colors to match my facility?
Absolutely you can customize the colors to match your brand facility! Both the steel support posts and the HDPE shade fabric come in a wide variety of colors. This allows you to integrate the shade system into your existing brand identity and color palette.
K
L
How do I know what size shade I need for my play yard?
As a custom kennel manufacturer, we provide a full design consultation. We analyze the sun's path across your yard and your specific floor plan to ensure the shade is positioned for maximum coverage during the hottest parts of the day.
K
L
Is the shade fabric easy to clean?
Yes. The mesh fabric is resistant to mold and mildew. Most dirt and debris can be removed with a simple garden hose or a mild detergent, keeping your outdoor area looking pristine and professional.
